I recently joined the Arc of Justice Alliance (AJA), a progressive initiative uniting scholars, activists, spiritual leaders, artists, and organizers to develop a sustainable alternative to the far-right's increasingly authoritarian ambitions.
Many are familiar with the Republican Project 2025, which is supported by groups like the Heritage Foundation. This plan aims to consolidate power by dismantling federal regulations, militarizing domestic affairs, and promoting white Christian nationalism — a strategy that is both alarming and dangerous.
In response, the AJA emphasizes the importance of a long-term vision rooted in democratic principles, human rights, and environmental sustainability. Recognizing the extensive efforts of the right—billions invested in media, judicial pipelines, and ideological training—the alliance seeks to unify progressive voices to counterbalance these forces.
