Emotions were high, and temperatures were low at Rock Bridge High School on Friday night as Blue Springs South football defeated the Bruins 28-7 in the Class 6 District 6 semifinal.
It was an emotional rollercoaster for the Bruins, who claimed an early lead after scoring a touchdown at the top of the first half. Blue Springs South responded with consistent defensive pressure, limiting the Rock Bridge's offensive opportunities for the rest of the matchup.
