Raul Rosas Jr. makes UFC history Saturday night as the youngest fighter to headline a UFC card. The 21-year-old bantamweight faces 39-year-old Raoni Barcelos at UFC Vegas 121 in Las Vegas.
Rosas Jr. holds a 13-1 record and became the youngest ranked UFC fighter before his 22nd birthday. He has won five consecutive fights since his only UFC loss to Christian Rodriguez.
“I’m ready to die in that cage on Saturday night,” Rosas Jr. told CBS Sports. “If I lose to him, my dreams of becoming a UFC champion could fade away, so I can’t let it fade away that easily.”
