After a six-year gestation process Philadelphia, PA post-metal outfit Rosetta will be releasing their final studio album “Temporal Lapse on November 27th through Pelagic Records. That 7-song outing is described by the band as being, “Loosely structured around the five-stage model of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance), it meditates on losses both personal and collective.”
Recording sessions for it were overseen by the band themselves and Matt Weed, while Jeremy S.H Griffin was brought on to mix it. Just in from it is the lead single, “The Native Hue Of Resolution“. Also available below is a trailer that outlines the unexpected path that altered the arc of their career and why it’s taken them so many years to get this album out, while also touching on the decision to deem it their last record.
