ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a reported motor vehicle crash along West Chesapeake Beach Road (Route 260) near Sansbury Road on Saturday evening, Oct. 31.
According to emergency dispatch records, Calvert County emergency medical personnel were requested to provide mutual aid at approximately 8:56 p.m.
Ambulance 18 was among the units assigned to the incident.
At approximately 9:13 p.m., an emergency notification advised motorists that Route 260 near Sansbury Road would be closed for an undetermined period.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the road closure was directly related to the reported crash.
The number of vehicles involved, extent of any injuries and whether anyone required hospital transportation remain unknown.
Motorists should avoid the affected portion of Route 260 and seek alternate routes until authorities reopen the roadway.
