RWJBarnabas Health and the New Jersey Devils will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Running with the Devils 5K Run & Walk on Nov. 1, 2026, at Essex County’s South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange.
The event, which began with 238 participants, has grown to more than 2,600 participants across four event experiences. This year’s activities include a competitive 5K on a USA Track & Field-certified course, a Wellness Walk, virtual participation and a youth hockey skate tied to the event.
The 5K and Wellness Walk will take place along Cherry Lane and the reservoir. The virtual option will allow participants to run or walk from Oct. 1 through Nov. 1 in their own communities, including on neighborhood routes, in parks or on treadmills.
The Walk is part of the more than 30-year partnership between RWJBarnabas Health and the Devils. Proceeds will support RWJBarnabas Health programs and services across the state, including behavioral health, cancer care, children’s health, emergency medicine, heart and vascular care, neurosciences, nursing education, orthopedics and women’s health.
