Safilo Reports Profits and Sales Growth in H1 Driven by Asia-Pacific Performance

Safilo Group reports increased profits and sales growth in the first half of the year, driven primarily by strong performance in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Padua, Italy, the company continues to navigate macroeconomic headwinds, including currency fluctuations and evolving tariff negotiations, according to CEO Angelo Trocchia during a recent analyst call. Revenue for the six months ending June 30 rose marginally by 2.3% to €537.6 million, supported by gains in Asia-Pacific markets. Adjusted net profit increased significantly to €33.7 million from €24.2 million a year earlier.
