Saints Acquire Tight End Mason Pline and Release Seth Green

The New Orleans Saints have announced the addition of tight end Mason Pline, claiming him off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers, according to the NFL’s Official Transaction Wire. Concurrently, the team has waived tight end Seth Green from their roster. Mason Pline, 25 years old, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent signing with the 49ers after the 2024 draft, coming out of Furman University. He was released after training camp and spent the season on San Francisco's practice squad, later re-signing with the team on a futures contract.
