The Salida Council for the Arts invites all Salida artists and creatives to apply for the 2026 Community Grants for Artists of up to $500 each for funding for local arts and cultural-based projects.
The grant application cycle is from Oct. 1 to Nov. 2. Selections will be made by Nov. 12, and projects should be completed within a 12-month period, according to a press release.
Applicants may be individuals or organizations. Residency in Salida is not required, but the project must have a definable connection and benefit to the Salida community and be supportive of the council’s mission statement: “To enrich the cultural life of our community by supporting the arts. We do this through funding, through advocacy and creating opportunities for artists to grow and engage with the community.’
These grants are for a specific creative project and not for an artist’s or arts organization’s operating budget.
