Search resumes Monday for capsized boat on Mississippi River

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - Multiple agencies responded to a water rescue Sunday evening on the Mississippi River after a boat capsized.

According to Osceola Fire Chief Peter Hill, Osceola Fire and Rescue, Mississippi County Rescue Unit, Blytheville Fire and Rescue, and Arkansas Game and Fish began searching after receiving a call at 7:30 p.m. reporting a capsized boat on the Mississippi River.

Chief Hill told K8 News after 11 p.m. Sunday that the search would continue Monday morning.
