She emphasized that the President should provide a clear answer—either confirming or denying the existence of such tapes—especially since he suggested their possible existence earlier.
President Trump previously addressed Comey’s Senate testimony, labeling him a "leaker" and denying that he requested loyalty during their private meeting. He hinted at the potential existence of recordings, stating he might disclose more about them soon, warning that the answer might be disappointing.
