Join us for Paramount+ Movie Nights at Bryant Park on Tuesday, September 15th, featuring a free outdoor screening of The Truman Show. Following a rain cancellation earlier in the season, the beloved film will finally screen on the lawn for an encore performance before the season officially comes to a close.
Starring Jim Carrey and directed by Peter Weir, the 1998 sci-fi comedy-drama follows Truman Burbank, a man whose entire life is unknowingly being filmed and broadcast as a television show. Leave Seahaven behind and join hundreds of New Yorkers for an evening under the stars as we celebrate one of cinema’s most iconic films.
The lawn opens at 5:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to spread out a blanket, enjoy a picnic and take in the summer atmosphere before the film begins at 8:00 PM. Hester Street Fair food vendors will be available from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, while Stout NYC’s outdoor bar will be serving beer, wine and seasonal cocktails beginning at 5:00 PM.
