Rolling Stone magazine is set to appoint two editors-in-chief, marking a historic milestone with the addition of its first female leader in this role. Shirley Halperin, formerly co-editor-in-chief at The Hollywood Reporter, will assume the position of co-editor-in-chief and head of music starting September 1. Meanwhile, Sean Woods, who has served as an executive editor and has been with Rolling Stone for over two decades, will be promoted to a new leadership role effective immediately.
