Silly Goose has initiated a crowdfunding effort to cover legal expenses linked to their lead singer Jackson Foster's recent detention. Foster was detained after a spontaneous live performance at a BP gas station parking lot. The band had just participated in Chicago's renowned 'Lollapalooza' festival when they decided to host an impromptu concert at the gas station, having secured permission from the store manager.
Police intervened, resulting in Foster's arrest on charges of trespassing. After his release, the band returned the following day to the same location for an informal listening session of their upcoming album, "Keys To The City."
Performing guerrilla shows in unconventional venues has become a signature for Silly Goose, who have previously performed in locations like Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, Buc-ee’s, Subway, McDonald's, and Chick-fil-A.
