The Buccaneers improved to 8-5 on the season with the victory, closing the weekend on a high note while receiving contributions from throughout the lineup. In all, 16 of CSU's 18 players saw action in the four-set finale. Charleston Southern finished the match with 49 kills, 75 digs, seven service aces and seven total blocks. The Buccaneers also held a 75-66 advantage in digs while limiting Mercer to a .135 hitting percentage.
