Eighth Annual Event Unites Volunteers, Communities and Partners to End Child Bedlessness

EINPresswire.com/ -- Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), the leading national nonprofit dedicated to building and delivering beds to children in need, celebrated its eighth annual Bunks Across America (BAA) event that mobilized 17,761 volunteers with 232 chapters nationwide Sept. 5-12, in building 10,602 beds.

“Bunks Across America is the heartbeat of our organization,” said Jordan Allen, CEO of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. “This year, 17,000 volunteers came together in communities across the country, proving once again that when we work as one, we can change thousands of lives in a single day.
