[SMM Update] Changes Implemented to Zinc Industry Chain Import and Export Data Units Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) has announced a revision in the units used for reporting zinc-related import and export statistics within its non-ferrous metals database. Starting August 8, 2025, all data will be expressed in kilograms, replacing previous units such as 'mt' and '10,000 mt'. This change aims to provide more precise, country-specific trade data by utilizing the smallest measurement units.
