Signature Solar is expanding its operations for the first time out of its home state of Texas to Northern Nevada with a new retail and distribution facility in Reno.
The Sulphur Springs-based company chose Northern Nevada for its western region expansion to provide faster and cheaper shipping to customers in Nevada, Oregon, Washington and surrounding states, said Reno Store Manager and native Northern Nevadan Brian Seaton.
The 71,775-square-foot location at 6550 Longley Lane also gives regional customers a place to see the company’s wide array of solar products, which range from panels to battery storage and everything in between for people who want to power RVs or campers, create custom off-grid solar solutions, or add backup solar to their homes.
Workers have been busy for weeks unpacking inbound shipments of solar products to stock the expansive rows of racking at the new facility with solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, connections and other hardware necessary for solar systems.
