South African High Commissioner Visits The Bahamas for Emancipation Day Celebrations

South African High Commissioner Phumeza McKendi Arrives in The Bahamas In an official visit on behalf of President Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa's High Commissioner to The Bahamas, Phumeza McKendi, was hosted at Graycliff. During her stay, she participated in the Emancipation Day celebrations, a significant holiday commemorating emancipation. The event was attended by notable figures including her spouse, colleague Glenys Hanna Martin, Director General Jerusa Ali, Dean of the Honorable Consular Corps Maxwell Gibson, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Claudio Lins, and Permanent Secretary Creswell Sturrup of the Office of the Prime Minister.
