Axel Rudakubana allegedly threw boiling water mixed with sugar at a prison officer, a court has heard.
During the alleged incident on May 8 last year, Rudakubana threw the mixture through a hatch in his cell door at Belmarsh prison, Westminster magistrates' court was told on Monday.
Rudakubana, 20, who murdered three girls and tried to kill eight other children at a dance class in 2024, is charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and possession of an offensive weapon in prison.

The solution of boiling water and sugar is known as "prison napalm", and is frequently used in inmate attacks.
