SUSSEX — Spectrum Investment Advisors hosted its annual Cristo Rey Memorial Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course on Aug. 26 — a day filled with purpose, community and celebration. This year, organizers raised $18,000, allowing the Mequon-based Spectrum to award one scholarship, supporting the Cristo Rey graduate for two years of college.
This year’s scholarship recipient is Nataly Esquivel Campos. She will attend MSOE in the fall.
The recipient is selected by a committee that evaluates applicants based on the following criteria:
_ Good financial standing with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School;
_ Strong academic performance; and
_ A clear interest in pursuing a degree in business or finance.
The outing was originally created in memory of Rick Danning, a friend of the firm who died unexpectedly. His passion for Cristo Rey inspired a lasting bond, and this event continues to honor his legacy by investing in the futures of local students, according to Spectrum officials.
