CASS CITY — Cass City students are celebrating Homecoming 2026 this week with spirit days, a powderpuff football game, pep assembly, parade, homecoming court, varsity football game and Saturday night dance.
Homecoming week began Monday, Sept. 14, with Cozy Comfort Day, when students were encouraged to wear their coziest outfits, including pajamas, robes, slippers, hoodies and sweatpants.
Tuesday brought Holiday Wars, with each grade assigned a different holiday. Seventh-graders represented Easter, eighth-graders Valentine’s Day, freshmen St. Patrick’s Day, sophomores Christmas, juniors Halloween and seniors the Fourth of July.
The celebration continues Wednesday, Sept. 16, with Wild West Wednesday. Students are encouraged to break out their cowboy boots, plaid and other Western attire.
Wednesday evening will also feature the powderpuff football game at 7 p.m., with seniors and sophomores taking on juniors and freshmen. Admission is $2, and sports passes will not be accepted.
Thursday is Jersey Day, with students encouraged to represent their favorite sports team or player.
