ROBINSON: "Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that’s something that those of us who’ve been around for a while have to get used to, the fact that, yes, elections take place over an extended period of time. They start much earlier than many of us realize or have internalized, and so things kind of get locked in. And I got to admit, there is kind of that slight whiff of perhaps a wave now, you know, again, it’s just kind of starting to smell like it might be that kind of year. And in part because you just see the Republicans with nothing, with kind of nothing to say. And I wonder if people aren’t making up their minds and haven’t made up their minds that, yeah, it’s time for a change. I mean, you just look at — go down the street and you look at — go past the gas station, you look at the price of gas, you go in the grocery store, you look at the price of anything, and then split screen, you listen to what people in Washington here are talking about and it’s, you know, whether or not Donald Trump is going to tear down the Kennedy Center and, you know, all that sort of stuff.
