Calgary Stampeders News Release

The Calgary Stampeders have signed five Americans in defensive back Devin Grant, linebacker Kai Hill-Green, defensive linemen Tomasi Laulile and Navaeh Sanders and offensive lineman Kamar Missouri. Also joining the Red and White is National defensive back Jacob Taylor.

Grant signed as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League in May and was waived at the conclusion of training camp.

He played two seasons (2024-25) at Syracuse where he made 16 starts in 22 games. Grant registered 85 tackles including 11 tackles for loss, seven passes defended, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three sacks and one interception with the Orange. He spent the previous two seasons (2022-23) at Buffalo and was a first-team all-Mid-American Conference selection in 2023.
