We wrap up the weekend with another sunny and cool day across the region. Highs top out in the low 60s for most this afternoon with winds remaining steady out of the northwest at 10-20 mph, calming a little as the day goes on. Clear skies tonight will allow lows to tumble going into Monday morning, with much of the region seeing lows bottom out in the low 40s, while rural and low-lying areas may even fall into the upper 30s to start the week.
Monday will be the best chance for rain as we head through the coming week, as even though we start the day dry, rain will slide in from the west for the afternoon. By the time rain wraps up Monday night, much of the region will have totals close to an inch, with a few localized higher amounts around Northern Minnesota. The rest of the week keeps the Northland cool, with highs struggling to exit the 60s for the middle of September.
