A popular south-side pizza food truck is trying to get back on its feet after its business was stolen and later recovered.
Pizza Papi, owned by Daniel Hernandez, shared an update with customers saying the food truck was found in the woods near the Salado Creek Trail.
The business said the truck was damaged and that most of its equipment is gone.
"Thank y'all for all the love & support!" Hernandez said in a social media post. "We do have some damage and most of our equipment is gone, so give us a little time to get back on our feet."

His family owns several Mexican restaurants, but Hernandez decided to take a different direction with his own business, serving homemade specialty pizzas from a bright red and orange food truck.
Pizza Papi is known for its thin, buttery crust and specialty pizzas, including the Meat Luvrs with pepperoni, ham, bacon and sausage and the Sucia Supreme with pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, onions and olives.
