WESTHAMPTON, Long Island (PIX11) -- The Suffolk County Police Department is hosting a vehicle auction at the impound facility located at 100 Country Road in Westhampton on Saturday, Sept. 26.
There will be 80 vehicles available, ranging from a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu to a 2024 Toyota RAV4.
Discover more local reporting on our homepage The police department will host previews on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The auction will be held rain or shine at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The minimum bid on all vehicles is $500. The auction is cash only.
To participate in the auction, individuals must register. Buyers must be 18 years or older and have a valid government-issued ID.
For those purchasing a vehicle under a business name, a valid NYS Tax ID Card with the Tax ID number must be presented when registering.
