The State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, Enugu State, has released its academic calendar for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic session through the Office of the Registrar.
The schedule begins with the return of returning students on Saturday, 3 October 2026. It covers registration, lectures and continuous assessments before the Christmas break, while revision and first-semester examinations are scheduled for February and March 2027.
October 2026 Academic Activities
Returning students are expected back on campus on Saturday, 3 October 2026. Their registration begins on Monday, 5 October.
Lectures are scheduled to begin on Monday, 12 October, which is also the final day for returning-student registration. Freshmen will arrive and begin registration on the same date.
From 12 to 31 October, freshmen registration will continue alongside lectures.
