Swifties … WHO Is “Patient Zero?!” I have two kids, a husband, a job, a to-do list with 400 things on it …
… and yet here I am trying to figure out who Taylor Swift is singing about in “Patient Zero.”
Priorities.
Because you KNOW we can’t just listen to a Taylor Swift song. We have to investigate it.
Taylor has actually told us where the idea came from. She said a friend told her she had been reached out to by the new girlfriend of an ex of hers, asking for guidance on if she had the same experiences with this guy. After discussing, Taylor and the other women realized this was apparently a VERY relatable experience.
The song is basically:
“Hey girl … I think we dated the same man.”
But Taylor never said exactly WHO that man is.
And obviously, the Swifties said: “Challenge accepted.”
There are already theories connecting it to different exes, the music industry, Scooter, and even Selena and Justin theories are making their way into the conversation.
And then there’s the Joe Jonas theory.
Listen … I see why people are saying it.
