Taichi Missing 9/22 NJPW Road To Destruction Show Due To Ill Health
Taichi sidelined due to ill health.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling is on its Road to Destruction tour, and ahead of the September 22nd show, it was revealed that Taichi will be missing the event due to ill health.
He was supposed to be in an eight-man tag team match, but that has been changed to a six-man tag. NJPW issued the following:
“Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Taichi, who was scheduled to compete on September 22&s Battle Line Hokkaido- Road to Destruction event, will be unable to appear due to ill health.
We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Taichi wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.
The following change has been made to the day’s card.

El Desperado, Místico, Shota Umino & Taichi vs. SHO, DOUKI, Shun Skywalker & Dick Togo changed to El Desperado, Místico & Shota Umino vs. SHO, DOUKI & Shun Skywalker”
On October 17th, Taichi, in conjunction with NJPW, will be presenting a show at Taichi’s old middle school.
