Tampa City Council will convene a public hearing on Sept. 22 at 5:01 p.m. The session addresses the city's $2.04 billion fiscal year 2027 budget and capital improvement program. City Council Chambers at Old City Hall will host the gathering at 315 E. Kennedy Blvd.

According to Tampa.gov, citizens can show up in person. They can also join through communications media technology, though pre-registration is mandatory for anyone wishing to speak during public comment via virtual access.

Registration for remote speaking must be submitted at least 24 hours beforehand. Visit tampa.gov/PublicComment to complete the required paperwork. Speakers should mark their request under "Request Type" and will receive instructions on participation through communications media technology.
