T-Mobile US has disclosed new operating results from artificial intelligence systems used to plan and manage its wireless network. Its Customer-Driven Coverage platform divides the United States into millions of hexagons measuring 165 meters across and combines dropped-call data, service quality, churn and customer movement to prioritize site investment. During winter storm Fern in January 2026, its self-organizing network made more than 30,000 antenna adjustments and extended backup-battery operation by over 250,000 minutes. The operator reported restoring connectivity for 68 percent of affected customers within one hour and 98 percent within eight hours. During the 2026 World Cup, another system made more than 11,000 automated network adjustments across 12 cities.
