1 hours ago New York City's iconic Chrysler Building was the target of a bomb scare on Tuesday, with occupants of the first five floors evacuated.
Occupants around the building have been asked to shelter in place . The bomb scare comes hours after President Donald Trump addressed members of the United Nations.
The NYPD posted on their X account stating, "Due to police activity, please avoid the area around 43rd Street and 3rd Avenue. Expect road closures and delays." They later issued a post saying, "Due to a suspicious package, 42nd Street through 44th Street is closed between 2nd Avenue and Lexington Avenue. "

A YouTube video showed a large group of officials on Third Avenue, including fire and police personnel, with NYPD members attempting to maintain crowd control. Both the FBI and the Secret Service were on the scene, along with members of the bomb squad investigating what has been called a "suspicious suitcase."
One X account posted that the Secret Service and bomb squad ordered "an absolute pedestrian free...
