Craig Jarolimek hasn't had many friends visit him in his United Hospital room, where he's recovering from a pig bite on the leg. They're all too busy bringing in about 80 acres of his sugar beet crop.

When Jarolimek, 33, tried to squelch a swine skirmish last Sunday, a battling boar, named LE-2, bit him in the right thigh. Now, he's laid up in The United Hospital for at least four days and there's harvesting to be done.

That's where some 65 friends and neighbors decided to help.

According to a friend of Jarolimek's, neighbors pitched in with five harvesters, eight rotobeaters and 35 trucks to bring in the sugar beets from Jarolimek's farm, near Minto, N.D.
