Tom Cruise has a long history with the British royal family, and on Tuesday he was reunited with Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the world premiere of Digger in London. Cruise spoke about the reunion at the premiere of his new film days later on the British talk show The Graham Norton Show. “They are amazing — very charismatic. I had such a good time,” he said of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
It was not the first time the three have shared a red carpet. William and Kate joined Cruise for the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022, appearing alongside cast members including Glen Powell, Miles Teller, and Jennifer Connelly. Cruise has met other members of the royal family over the years as well, including both of William’s parents, Princess Diana and King Charles.
Kate made a striking entrance on the red carpet on Tuesday evening, hosted at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square, in a deep plum, custom Jenny Packham gown, with a plunging neckline, ruched waist detailing, a cutout on the back, and a sweeping skirt.
