On Sunday evening, the New York Mets announced the promotion of several highly regarded prospects from Double-A Binghamton to Triple-A Syracuse. The news was first reported by Daniel Wexler, confirming that infielder/outfielder Jett Williams, outfielder Carson Benge, right-handed pitcher Jonah Tong, and first baseman/outfielder Ryan Clifford will join Syracuse's roster.
