Remembering Victor J. Kochmer: A Life of Culinary Passion and Community Service
Victor J. Kochmer, a resident of Clarks Summit, peacefully passed away on August 1st at Allied Skilled Nursing after battling dementia for several years. Born on November 10, 1946, he was the son of Victor Kochmer Sr. and Frances Cardone Kochmer, both of whom preceded him in death.
Vic was happily married to Sheila Heffron Kochmer for nearly 53 years until her passing, and he was also preceded in death by his son, John. He leaves behind his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Craik of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter, Jennifer London of Schenectady, New York; and his son, Gabriel, along with his daughter-in-law, Marcia Bockol, of East Quogue, New York. Vic cherished his family deeply, especially his six grandchildren: Mason, Ava, Farah, Tyler, Brynn, and Miles. He is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
