Trump Demands Major Pharma Companies Reduce U.S. Drug Prices to Match International Rates

President Donald Trump has issued formal requests to 17 major pharmaceutical companies, urging them to lower drug prices in the United States by offering the lowest prices available internationally. In his letters, he emphasized the importance of providing most-favored-nation (MFN) pricing to all American consumers, including Medicaid patients, and mandated that new drugs also adhere to these pricing standards.
