On Sunday, President Donald Trump suggested that American citizens might receive a financial dividend resulting from tariffs imposed on international trading partners. Addressing reporters before departing from his New Jersey golf club via Air Force One, Trump indicated that middle- and lower-income Americans could potentially benefit from a distribution of tariff revenues. "There could be a dividend or a share of the tariff income returned to the people of our country, particularly those in the middle and lower-income brackets," he stated.
