Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA ) CEO Jensen Huang is reportedly expected to join President Donald Trump at a state dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping .
Jensen Huang to Attend Trump-Xi State Dinner Huang is set to attend the dinner when Xi travels to Washington for a meeting with Trump on Sept. 24, CNBC reported on Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the guest list.
In a statement to the publication, the White House said Trump invited several prominent U.S. business leaders to the dinner, adding that the president wants to prioritize deals that benefit the U.S.
Nvidia and the White House did not immediately respond to Benzinga’s request for comment.
Nvidia CEO at Center of US-China AI Race Huang’s attendance comes as AI and semiconductors remain central to the U.S.-China relationship.
Nvidia supplies chips widely used to develop and run AI systems, making the company a major player in the technology competition between Washington and Beijing.
