On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the University of Alabama Retirees Association will be hosting its Healthy Living in Retirement event.
TUARA is a nonprofit organization that plays as a key advocate and resources for UA retirees.
The program is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the University Recreation Center and will feature numerous presentations by health and fitness experts who will discuss practical information and resources that can help support retirees' well-being.
“We want TUARA to be a resource for retirees at every stage, and this program is a great opportunity to learn something new, ask questions and discover ways to support your health and well-being,” said Greg Singleton, president of TUARA.
The program is open to all UA retirees, future retirees, as well as members of the UA community.
This event reflects TUARA’s dedication to provide information, resources and opportunities that support the well-being of existing and potential UA retirees.
