Tulane’s William Hudlow named Ray Guy Award ‘Ray’s 8’ Week Three honoree
AUGUSTA, GA – Redshirt junior punter William Hudlow of Tulane football was named a Ray’s 8 Week Three winner for the Ray Guy Award on September 21.
Hudlow punted five times for 203 yards with a long of 51 and one placed inside the 20 against Kansas State.
This season, he has averaged 43.9 yards per punt, with five of his 17 attempts landing inside the 20 and six traveling 50 or more yards.
The Jesuit of New Orleans product currently ranks third in the conference and 25th nationally in punting average during his first year as the team’s primary punter.
Next, Tulane (1-2) returns home to Yulman Stadium to host Southern Miss (1-2) on Saturday at 6 p.m.
