Concerns regarding Miller's long-term position stability at shortstop, despite his .740 OPS in Double-A and a ranking of #17 among prospects by MLB Pipeline, influenced the decision. The Twins believed Tait demonstrated greater potential and prioritized acquiring him from Philadelphia.
