Reynolds Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two people were killed in a crash Wednesday evening in Reynolds County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 5:53 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, on County Road 334, about five-and-a-half miles west of Annapolis.
The Patrol reports that a 54-year-old Festus man was driving a Magni Gyro eastbound when the vehicle struck a powerline and crashed.
The driver and his 50-year-old female passenger, also from Festus, both suffered fatal injuries. Both were wearing safety devices.
The two victims were pronounced dead at approximately 4:15 a.m. Thursday.
The Patrol reports this is Troop G's 23rd and 24th traffic fatalities of the year, compared with 26 fatalities at the same time last year.
