Last Friday, Tyla unveiled her latest EP, titled WWP, featuring the highly anticipated collaboration "Dynamite" with Wizkid. Recorded two years earlier, this track showcases a blend of African musical influences, highlighting the rising talents of both artists through a seductive and culturally rich sound.
The accompanying music video, released today, captures the vibrant energy of the song. It depicts Tyla and Wizkid in a Moroccan apartment, rehearsing for a joint performance. The video culminates in an explosive finale reminiscent of a scene from "John Wick: Chapter 3," with a dramatic explosion that matches the song's fiery title.
Tyla explained the delay in releasing "Dynamite," stating during an interview with Capital XTRA Breakfast, "We just didn’t finish it earlier. We discussed it sporadically, but it didn’t come together until now. Both of us have busy schedules and multiple commitments."
Besides "Dynamite," the WWP EP features singles like "Bliss" and "Is It." Tyla's 2025 activities also include collaborations such as "When I’m With You" with Lisa and her contribution "Everything Goes With Blue" for the Smurfs soundtrack.
