The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation has secured a $50,000 grant from the Windgate Foundation to support scholarships for students in the UACCM Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing programs beginning in Spring 2027. Since 2021, the UACCM nursing program has produced 205 PN graduates and 166 RN graduates while also training approximately 100 Certified Nursing Assistants per year. During that time, the college’s Mary Clark says UACCM has ranked among the top programs in Arkansas regarding National Council Licensure Examination pass rates…
“For the last five years the Practical Nursing program has had a 99% pass rate on the NCLEX,” Clark said. “On the RN, the three-year average pass rate is 98.8%, so that just shows the quality of the programs…”
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled full-time in an eligible UACCM nursing program and maintain satisfactory academic standing.
