UK airports show robust activity in H1 2026,

- UK airport ground support activity showed strong growth in H1 2026, with median daily active hours per monitored GSE vehicle rising 75.5% year-on-year, despite geopolitical uncertainty, Middle East disruption and higher fuel costs. The number of GSE vehicles monitored by Targa Telematics also increased 91%.

- The wider UK aviation market remained resilient, with passenger numbers rising year-on-year in both Q1 and Q2. More than 81 million passengers travelled through UK airports in Q2, while Heathrow handled a record 40 million passengers in the first six months of the year, supported by strong North American and Asia-Pacific traffic.
