Minnesota Duluth volleyball notched its seventh consecutive win and sweep, putting away Jamestown 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-22) in NSIC play at Romano Gym on Saturday afternoon.
The 23rd-ranked Bulldogs have now won 21 consecutive sets dating back to their opener at the Colorado State Pueblo Tournament against Fort Lewis on Sept. 4, their only loss of the season. Through 12 matches, the Bulldogs have won 34 sets and lost just six.

UMD never trailed in winning the first set with relative ease, jumping out to leads of 6-1, 13-5 and 20-9 and piling up 17 kills.
Set two was a little slower going for UMD, but the Jimmies did their part by hitting negative (more errors than kills). That caught up to the visitors when, after two UMD errors put Jamestown within two points of the set at 23-22, the Bulldogs won the last three on kills by Kenzie Kiminski, Elyse Karrels and an error.
The Bulldogs led 9-2 early in set three, but UJ closed to within 20-19 before back-to-back Kiminski kills, and the teams alternated points the rest of the way until UMD closed it out.
