An unsuspected hazard at Disney World has been linked to more emergency room visits than any of its popular attractions. While thrill-seekers anticipate adrenaline rushes on rides, recent injury reports from Disney in 2025 reveal that many incidents occur during the moments guests leave the rides, not during the rides themselves.
Between January and June 2025, nine individuals required hospitalization after experiencing serious health issues at Walt Disney World. Interestingly, most injuries were not caused by high-speed coasters or intense drops; instead, they resulted from slips, trips, or medical emergencies that happened as guests exited the attractions.
Reported incidents include an elderly woman who fell and injured her ankle after exiting 'Frozen Ever After,' a guest feeling nauseated post-ride on 'Cosmic Rewind,' and a man with pre-existing health conditions experiencing shortness of breath after 'Peter Pan’s Flight.' Other cases involved fainting, leg injuries from falls, loss of consciousness, abdominal pain, seizure-like symptoms, and arm pain—all occurring during or immediately after ride exits.
