Russia's ruling party, United Russia, has dominated early returns in the country's first wartime parliamentary election, according to figures released by the Central Election Commission.
With approximately 58 percent of precincts counted, United Russia holds nearly 58 percent of the vote for the 225 seats allocated through federal party lists.
The party is also positioned to sweep the remaining 225 single-seat races.
Turnout stood at just under 57 percent when polls closed late on Sunday.
The three-day ballot included voters across four occupied Ukrainian regions that Moscow unilaterally annexed after 2022, as well as the Crimean Peninsula, annexed in 2014—actions condemned by the European Union as a "blatant violation of international law".

Some parties excluded
Some anti-war opposition parties were excluded from the campaign.
The liberal Yabloko party, a group openly critical of the conflict, was barred from party-list balloting by Russia's Supreme Court.
